Jenny Segail

Jenny Segail started yoga in 1999. She did her teacher training through Byron Yoga. Her style of teaching is Hatha Based. She incorporates her own style of flowing, moving yoga influenced by her experiences with movement and dance. Jenny focuses on alignment, strength, flexibility and creating a strong core.

Jenny believes that one can manage pain in the back, neck and hips by doing yoga. Breath is a big part of the class. Jenny teaches students to link breath with yoga poses. She encourages her students to take deep cleansing and energising breaths. By breathing, a meditative quality is found in the practice. Movement helps to detoxify the body and decrease stress and anxiety. By doing challenging postures, one’s mind is distracted from one’s annoying internal voices and we get to take a breathing space from the everyday stresses of life.

Jenny has a calm and soothing voice and is very caring and nurturing. Jenny is a big believer in positive thinking and living your best life. Her words of wisdom at the end of each class hopefully inspires everyone to live a more peaceful life.

Yolande Hyde

Yolande’s Tuesday 6:15pm class offers seasonal yoga asana and philosophy with a pranayama (breathing technique) practice in a slowed-down, restorative format. Perfect for decompression, Self-inquiry, and alignment with the greater tides.

From Yolande: "I am an eternal student moving along the path beside you, discovering what might be blocking my path and looking to find the benevolence and higher eye that might return that flow so I can continue to love who I was yesterday, and improve beyond that tomorrow."

It is my wish that we all become awake and aware of our interconnectedness, both human and divine. Becoming alive in such a way that we might live a life of meaning and purpose that brings benefit to ourselves, our families and the world around us."

Jessie Salmon

Hello, I'm Jessie, and I've immersed myself in the practice of yoga for over a decade. My teaching journey began in 2016 when I completed my yoga teacher training with Power Living, and since then, yoga has been my inspiration to foster connections within the community and with my inner self.

Vinyasa yoga holds a special place in my heart as I find the seamless flow between movement and breath such a useful tool to reconnect with self and bring me back to the present moment. Building on this passion, I pursued advanced vinyasa training in 2017 through Power Living and am currently completing my 500hr teaching training through Creature Yoga in Byron Bay.

In my classes, you can expect a dynamic blend of strong asana practice, pranayama, and meditation, all aimed at nurturing your body, mind, and spirit. I look forward to joining you on the mat so that we can share the many benefits of yoga together.

Namaste x
