Yin & Mindfulness: How to Cultivate Loving Presence

This workshop has been designed to heal our connection with ourselves, our physical bodies, each other and our natural world through Yin yoga postures, loving-kindness meditation, free movement and deep listening.

As humans, we are conditioned to forget our true nature and slip into trance - an emotional reactivity to life that keeps us identified with a limited, separate sense of self. This workshop helps us to identify this trance and to bring a healing attention that frees us to live our moments with creativity, wisdom, and love. This workshop is for the sole (soul) purpose of healing and you will be sure to experience a divine energetic shift. We will explore how to take these lessons off the mat and into the world, so every moment can be lived wholeheartedly and we can embrace life in all of its magic.

About Clare:

My yoga journey began in 2010 on a beach in Byron Bay under the guidance of Mariana De Castro (from the Brazilian Swasthya lineage). My practice, which began as a purely physical pursuit to balance out my often chaotic lifestyle, has evolved into a ‘toolkit for life’ that is with me always.

I believe that yoga does not just take place on the mat but intertwines with every element of our lives. My practice has taught me that genuine happiness is not based on external conditions but can be achieved by living simply and mindfully with generosity and compassion. This is a philosophy that I want to share with the world.

I am currently registered at the RYT500 hour level with Yoga Alliance Australia. I completed my 200 hour teacher training in March 2014 with Mathew Bergan at Dancing Warrior Yoga. I then continued my studies with Mathew – completing a further 150 hour advanced teacher training by December 2014.

I have completed 50 hours of Chakra Sequencing , 50 hours of Ayuvedic Sequencing & 50 hours of Bhakti training with Jasmine Tarkeshi (Laughing Lotus Flow). I completed a 60 hour Yin/Yang advanced teacher training with Sarah Powers (Insight Yoga) and I have also trained extensively with Shiva Rae.
