April completed her Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher training in southern India in 2016.

April has had a strong passion for dancing which has lead her to a vinyasa style of yoga.

Vinyasa is a style of yoga that incorporates flow movement, controlled breathing and a balance of strength and flexibility.

The class is appropriate for all levels, with modifications to suit your level of flexibility and strength.



I have been practicing meditation for over 20 yrs and holding meditation groups for 5.

I am passionate about meditation and relaxation. I think it is vital for healthy survival in today’s society.

My meditation practice consists of breath focus, visualization, sound, subject guided meditation and Yoga Nidra body relaxation.

My class will have an informal flow and is open to anyone seeking chill time, quiet time to go within or relaxation. Beginners are very welcome.



I have been associated with and practicing Satyananda Yoga since 2004 [after years of trying many other styles none ever quite the right fit]. Subsequently travelling to India in 2011 experiencing Ashram life, then in 2012 at the gentle but inexorable request of my teacher, I commenced a 2 year Diploma of Yoga Studies at the Academy of Yoga Science (formerly Satyananda Yoga Academy).

The diploma required a demonstrated high level of discipline, delivering affective teaching and learning experiences. Taking the Brain as an elective and delving deeper into the effects of meditation, Yoga Nidra and the complexities on both the body and the brain.  

In the following years, completing further studies and more training in various modalities and ancient Tantric practices. 

I love to share the knowledge I have gained from the years of study and personal practice in the tradition.  Providing students with the ability to move into life with strength and flexibility in both body and mind.  The pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation practices provide you with a sense of peace and serenity, setting you up for whatever life brings. 

My classes are for all ages and abilities from beginners to intermediate. 



Siobhan focuses her classes on correct alignment and moving safely into and out of poses. Students are encouraged to progress slowly and steadily through a sequence of poses where modifications and options are always offered.

Perfect for the beginner as well as intermediate Yoga practitioners wanting to revisit the basics.
