The Power of Dreams
In this 2.5 hr workshop learn the art and science of lucid dreaming as a method of deep self exploration, accelerated learning and creativity.
-Deal with limiting beliefs.
-Meet and integrate repressed aspects of self.
-Harness and explore your hidden creativity and wisdom towards life goals.
-Learn techniques to improve sleep quality and how to fall asleep if unable to go back to sleep.
So why bother to lucid dream and become aware of dreams? It's a question I regularly answer in work shops. So here's my top 6!
1. Improve memory.
- The act of remembering your dreams is one of the greatest memory enhancing systems you could ever use.
2. Improves Neuro-plasticity.
-When we do things that are impossible in the waking state we activate new neural pathways thereby improving our capacity to learn new skills and break old habitual patterns
3. Pure enjoyment.
-Have fun! Do all that you have dreamed of doing! Fly. Visit far away lands. Travel out into the universe. They sky is the limit!
4. Create a healthy relationship with the subconscious mind.
- When we write down our dreams we extend our hand to our subconscious and begin a deeper relationship with it where we are willing to hear what it has to say.
5. Overcome PTSD and chronic nightmares.
-Many journal articles and publications are beginning to verify the power of lucid dreaming as a tool to consciously face past traumas and fears with dramatic results. Often showing more promise then conventional therapies.
6. Skill consolidation and practice.
-Studies show that when we actively participate in a skill once lucid that the same parts of our brain responsible for that skills turn on. This has been demonstrated on a lesser level with visualisation. The difference is lucid dreaming offers a three dimensional full HD experience of the same skill or experience.
