Journey To Self - a 3 part workshop on remembering who we are.
Part 1: 60 min Asana practice; main focus on breath, bandha, drishti and strong philosophical teachings on dharma, non duality and the Atman (true self)
Part 2: 45-60 min Satsung - group discussion on dharma and life purpose. Distinguishing the difference between living from fear or love, and learning how to step out of fear based living and into dharma. Touch on limiting core beliefs and hearing Kris's story about mental health and how she quit her full-time job to live out her dharma. Students will connect with each other and ultimately their true selves.
Part 3 - Kirtan! Everything we discover about ourselves we celebrate through Bhajans and mantras. We sing to ourselves, each other and the Universe!
AIM: for students to walk away with heightened consciousness; having realized the difference between the two states of being fear (Ego) and love (Soul). With this new awareness, you will be able to manifest your desires and live with purpose, peace, joy, and love.
A note from Kris:
I love seeing my students step into their power, connect with their true selves and live from that space off the mat. I dive deep into traditional yoga philosophy and how we can apply it to our modern lives and live from peace, joy, and love.
I have a duty to teach, to empower and to awaken and I believe that the universe put me here for just that!
